We announce a new Multibanco plugin for FluentCart
We are pleased to announce the new Multibanco Payments plugin for FluentCart, developed by Naked Cat Plugins — the platform’s first third-party payment integration, enabling stores to accept Multibanco payments easily and securely at checkout.Innovation for Portuguese e-commerce
With this launch, FluentCart merchants can generate Multibanco payment references directly in their stores. The payment status updates automatically once the customer completes the transaction, ensuring a smooth and reliable checkout experience.

Free and continuously evolving
The plugin is free and available on WordPress.org. The current version supports Multibanco, and we are already working on MB WAY integration. Additional payment methods will follow as FluentCart continues to grow.
Getting started
- Install and activate the plugin from WordPress.org;
- Set up your ifthenpay account credentials;
- Enable Multibanco in FluentCart’s payment settings;
