The ifthenpay MCP Server is now available
We developed the ifthenpay MCP Server to enable Artificial Intelligence agents such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other platforms compatible with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to interact directly with our services. This solution simplifies payment automation and the integration of ifthenpay APIs into AI-powered workflows.
At ifthenpay, we continue to invest in innovation and in adopting the latest technologies to simplify the integration of our services across different platforms and ecosystems.
With this objective, we developed the ifthenpay MCP Server, a solution based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) that enables Artificial Intelligence agents to communicate directly with our services through a standardized interface. This protocol is emerging as a standard for securely, consistently and interoperably connecting AI models with external tools and services.
With this solution, developers and businesses can integrate ifthenpay features into AI assistants and MCP-compatible development environments, simplifying tasks that previously required direct API integration.
Available operations include generating Multibanco payment references, initiating MB WAY payment requests, creating Pay By Link payments and other services provided by ifthenpay, enabling faster and more efficient process automation.
The MCP Server was designed to provide a simple and flexible integration experience, allowing AI-assisted development tools to execute operations on ifthenpay services using natural language and automated workflows. This reduces technical complexity and accelerates the development of solutions powered by intelligent agents.
With this development, we reinforce our commitment to delivering technology designed for the next generation of Artificial Intelligence applications, making ifthenpay services increasingly accessible, interoperable and integrated with the emerging technology ecosystem.
To facilitate adoption, we provide comprehensive technical documentation with installation, configuration and usage instructions for the ifthenpay MCP Server, enabling rapid integration with clients compatible with the Model Context Protocol. The project is also available on GitHub and listed in MCP community directories, making it easier for developers, businesses and compatible platforms to discover, use and integrate it.
